Me — a model? No way! Yet, that was exactly what I had just auditioned to be, and for good reason. I was on a mission to learn what Willis and Patricia Gulls were up to. I was hoping my hunch of them being wrapped up in criminal activity was wrong, at least for Brady’s sake. However, there were four model interns that I had to ensure were safe in their care, and I had my doubts.
Marcelo agreed to work with me on the case, hoping this was the last one I would take on, and then we could pursue our relationship further. Everything was going smoothly until my mom heard Marcelo and I had eloped. Which we really hadn’t, yet how could I explain why we pretended to be married on the cruise ship?
My focus was being pulled in many directions, and I had to ignore the distractions. I needed to find out who was the main boss in charge of orchestrating the crimes that had taken place. I was almost certain I knew exactly who it was, and if I was right — they were going down!
I am not a criminal! I think. Wait, no, I know I’m not! Then why does everyone believe I am?
I agreed to take this case, but after an ultimatum from Marcelo Ricci- I changed my mind. How I ended up right in the middle of the car theft ring wasn’t my fault. I only hoped they didn’t leave me there.
I had the information needed to stop the guy in charge until I learned there was a boss. There was someone even higher in power calling the shots. I had to find out who. Only I couldn’t stay much longer or I would end up at the mercy of Jack Herbert.
I needed to find a way to escape, but there were two women I had to be sure and take with me. Only where would I go since everyone thought I was guilty? Didn’t they know me at all? Didn’t they know Things Aren’t Always What They Seem?
How I ended up going from having my heart broken by Brady to being married to Marcelo was beyond me.
Okay, it was a fake marriage. But still.
I had booked a cruise to get away for some desperately needed downtime, which ended up being the exact opposite of what I got. Instead, I was coaxed into working a case with Marcelo, which was what I had always wanted. Not so much having to deal with Marcelo, but being invited to work an undercover investigation.
The problem was, having to pretend to be Marcelo’s wife became more than I bargained for as emotions skyrocketed and I didn’t know how to tame them. Solving the case wasn’t the only thing on my mind. Now I needed to figure out how I was going to get off this ship with my heart intact. How could a person fall for someone when their heart was already broken?
Stella Rivers has a stalker. Why this is my problem? I have no idea. Ever since she decided we needed to bury the hatchet, she thinks we are the best of friends. Of course I love a good mystery to solve, but this is more than I bargained for when helping Stella ends up with her living in my home and even wearing my clothes.
She is disrupting my life, including my love life. Things are going great with Brady, and I would like for it to continue as so, without Stella in the middle of every date we have. Not to mention all the dates I’m having to go on hoping to figure out which guy has his sights on Stella. Including his camera sights.
Things take a turn for the worse when Stella’s stalker becomes my own. Not only do I have to keep my eye out for the stalker, but I also have to watch out for my new next-door neighbor who makes me cringe each time I encounter him. I know he is up to no good. I just need the opportunity to prove it.
With each image that turns up from the stalker, a new level of fear comes with it and I learn real quick the truth of the meaning- A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words.
I am a walking disaster not only because I’m sick with a nasty cold but also because the last conversation I had with Lillian was of her choosing to disown me as her sister. What if I never see her again? I can’t even fathom the thought!
So, I did the only thing I knew to do- I enlisted the help of Marcelo AND Brady. Yes, I was making them work together, and they didn’t like it. Not one bit.
Everything was going wrong from the torrential downpour of rain that seemed to be never-ending to me being run off the road and winding up in jail. Yes, jail.
But nothing was going to stop me from getting Lillian back, even if it meant cooperating with the criminals and handing over what they were needing to commit their next crime. With all the chaos taking place, one thing I came to realize was certain- When it Rains it Pours.

My sixth book “Bitten By Love” in my series called Meadow Creek is available. Here is a bit about it.

Brooklyn held too many secrets, which required keeping everyone at a distance. She was isolated and alone, that is, until Trenton came back to town. The kind-hearted veterinarian had worked his way into her heart, but she still couldn’t tell him the truth. She was sworn to secrecy.
Trenton had no idea what he was getting into when he befriended Brooklyn. He knew she was hiding something, but felt the need to help her. If he could only get her to open up and trust him.
When Brooklyn’s past catches up with her, she doesn’t have a choice to stay hidden any longer. She needs help, but who can she turn to? It will take more than Trenton to keep her safe.

The co-workers find themselves stranded in a winter snowstorm out in the middle of nowhere. Will the isolation bring out Isaac’s and Maggie’s true feelings for each other? If so, will it be enough to change their circumstances?
